Academic Partnership Agreements

Âé¶čAV partners with several colleges and training entities. Check out how you might benefit from these transfer agreements, and whether your prior college and training experience is included.


Âé¶čAV Technical College

Âé¶čAV Advantage

Âé¶čAV is proud to partner with Âé¶čAV Technical College for Âé¶čAV Advantage. With this collaboration students gain:

  • Guaranteed admissions for Âé¶čAV Technical College graduates* (select programs at Âé¶čAV have additional admissions requirements and/or admit only a select number of students each year)
  • Joint admissions coordination for Âé¶čAV Advantage students 

This collaboration ensures student success at all stages of the college experience, from application, to transfer, to graduation. 

Students who are part of Âé¶čAV Advantage can easily transfer core curriculum credits, including earning credits to complete up to the first 60 hours in the areas of business administration, communication, computer science, dental hygiene, kinesiology, nursing, political science, psychology, respiratory therapy, and social work.  

AAS in Cybersecurity

Âé¶čAV Technical College (ATC) students who have completed courses in the Associate in Applied Science in Cybersecurity degree will be granted equivalent credit towards coursework at Âé¶čAV for a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity. ATC students who have earned a “C” or better in the coursework shown below are given designated Âé¶čAV credit.

  • Students interested in seeing how the AAS in Cybersecurity from ATC transfers to AU should review the Table of Transfer Courses (effective Fall 2024). 
  • Students who want to participate in this partnership should also for the broader Âé¶čAV Advantage program to receive important transfer information.

Georgia Military College

Student who graduate from Georgia Military College with an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science is guaranteed admission into Âé¶čAV University provided that the student has a GPA of 2.25 for all college course work attempted. Students with a minimum GPA below 2.25 will not meet admissions requirements for Âé¶čAV University.  The guarantee of admission is to Âé¶čAV only and does not guarantee acceptance into specific majors or programs that are competitively based or that have admission requirements beyond the minimum for the institution. 

Georgia Military College AA or AS in Elementary or Middle Grades Education

Students of Georgia Military College with an Associate of Arts or Science in Elementary or Middle Grades Education are eligible for admission into Âé¶čAV’s College of Education, provided they meet the following criteria: 

  • Earn 30 transferable semester hours or 45 quarter transferable hours.
  • Earn a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of a 4.0 scale for all college course work attempted.
  • Submit all required materials within the appropriate deadlines.
  • Submit an application to Âé¶čAV with the required application fee and be admitted.
  • Pass the GACE Program Admissions Assessment with a 250 or higher on all three sections (Math, Reading, and Writing).
  • Complete the GA Educator Ethics Entrance Assessment.
  • Once admitted into Âé¶čAV, student must complete the COE application and submit it to the COE Program Manager, along with supporting documents.

Interested students should complete an Intent to Enroll form.

  • Associate of Arts in Elementary Education
  • Associate of Science in Elementary Education
  • Associate of Arts in Middle Grades Education
  • Associate of Science in Middle Grades Education 

Georgia Military College AA or AS in Social Work

Students of Georgia Military College with an Associate of Arts or Science in Social work is eligible for admission into Âé¶čAV’s Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Bachelor of Social Work program, provided they meet the following criteria.

  • Earned a minimum GPA of 2. out of a 4.0 scale for all college work attempted
  • Submitted all required materials within the appropriate deadlines
  • Submitted an application to Âé¶čAV with the required application fee and be admitted
  • Submitted an application to Âé¶čAV's BSW program and be admitted by the Social Work faculty to the institutions BSW Program

Fort Gordon Cyber School and Signal School

“Âé¶čAV is pleased to provide academic credit for military training in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, a Masters of Science in Information Security Management (MSIMS), and/or Masters of Arts in Intelligence and Security Studies (MAISS). The award of academic credits shortens the route to graduation. Learn more .


TCSG General Education Transfer Courses

Students who study at member institutions of the can take advantage of courses that will also fulfill core curriculum requirements at Âé¶čAV. This agreement is also known as the Complete College Georgia Articulation Agreement and provides a pathway into all associate and bachelor degree plans at Âé¶čAV.

Interested students should refer to the TCSG transfer course chart for specific guidance on transferable courses from their home institution.


National Security Agency on behalf of the National Cryptologic University 

Specific coursework from the National Security Agency’s National Cryptologic University can be used for credit toward a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from Âé¶čAV. NSA Sponsored courses matrix
