We are BEYOND excited to welcome you to campus in the coming weeks. If you have not yet registered for your Orientation Experience, please do so today to . All new jaguars are required to attend one of our One-Day Orientation Experiences to ensure they have all that they need to succeed on day one. Use this landing page as your go-to-place for the most up-to-date information for your Orientation Experience.

Our Orientation Experience strives to provide a seamless transition for all new students that integrates them into the Â鶹AV community. Students will connect with faculty, staff, and their peers to ensure successful entrance, navigation, inclusion, and participation in a full experience at Â鶹AV. Students will depart New Student Orientation with a sense of pride for their chosen home.

Wanting a virtual orientation experience? These are only available for the following student groups:

  • Students who live 4+ hours away from Â鶹AV, GA 
  • Active Duty Military Students 
  • Veteran Students
  • Students beginning classes in Summer 2026

 

 

Our Transition Timeline:

There are a lot of emails coming your way. This section is here to aid you in your transition into Â鶹AV. 

Put simply, you need to register for your , complete your Online Welcome, and complete your New Jag Survey. You will not receive a schedule without completion of your New Jag Survey and Online Welcome. You will receive your schedule on your Orientation Day!

Your Transition Has a Few Parts:

  • - Your Online Welcome will appear in your Admissions Portal after you confirm your acceptance. Be sure to review and complete it in advance of your Orientation session. The Online Welcome for students starting in Summer and Fall 2026 will open in April.
  • - Your New Jag Survey will inform your advisor of your individual needs and preferences while creating your schedule. If you are a new student starting in Summer or Fall 2026, your New Jag Survey is now available in your Admissions Portal. Be sure to complete it at your earliest convenience!
  • - We invite all New Jags to sign up for a Wednesday Webinar. These virtual sessions are free, and will provide valuable information to you and your system of support as you transition into Â鶹AV.
  • - New Student Orientation introduces you to campus resources, academic expectations, and next steps for enrollment while giving you the chance to meet faculty, staff, and fellow students and explore campus through guided tours.
  • LEAP Week- All new Jags are invited to participate in LEAP Week, a multi-day experience filled with activities and events designed to welcome you into our shared community!
