After Acceptance

CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT. Let us know you’re planning to attend and secure your seat! Complete your Acceptance
Agreement and submit your non-refundable Enrollment Deposit in your .
- ACTIVATE YOUR AU ACCOUNT. Follow the step-by-step account activation instructions to set up your primary AU student credentials. These login details grant you access
to , your central student dashboard for POUNCE and email, and are completely separate
from your initial Admissions Portal login. To maintain uninterrupted access to all
campus networks and systems, you must complete your Duo two-factor authentication enrollment immediately following activation.

SIGN UP FOR ZEEMEE. Visit and create an account and connect with Âé¶¹AV. This is a great way to
meet other new Jags with similar interests. Start building your community before you
even get to campus!

COMPLETE YOUR NEW JAG SURVEY. This critical survey will help your Academic Advisor build your course schedule for
your first semester at AU. Completion is required to receive a schedule. (Available
in March for Summer/Fall 2026 students.)
Before New Student Orientation

COMPLETE YOUR ONLINE WELCOME. Spend time in your virtual orientation session to learn information that is critical
to your success at AU. Linked in your Admissions Portal, you’ll need to complete these
online modules before attending your orientation session. (Available in March for
Summer/Fall 2026 students.)

SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. Be sure to send in all documents required for enrolling at AU including immunizations records and verification of lawful presence. Learn more in your Admissions Portal. Note that some students will have additional
requirements. Note: Some students will have additional requirements.

ACCESS YOUR AU EMAIL. Log into using your newly created credentials. This portal is your primary hub for all essential
student information, including registration, financial updates, and quick access to
your official student email. Because email is the university's official channel for
critical updates, make sure to check your account regularly via the dashboard link.

GET YOUR JAGCARD. Send in a headshot for your JagCard so it is ready for you at Orientation.

PREPARE FOR ORIENTATION. Be sure to review any pre-Orientation emails carefully and plan for your travel and
accommodations (if needed).
After New Student Orientation

REVIEW YOUR SCHEDULE AND BILL IN POUNCE. Check your course schedule as well as your student account balance in . Contact your Academic Advisor if you want to make schedule changes. Remember that
your student account should be paid in full prior to the first day of classes.

SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS. High school transcripts must show your date of graduation, and college transcripts
must have all final grades with no registration for future semesters. These must be
received prior to the first day of classes.

SUBMIT ANY AP, IB, OR DUAL ENROLLMENT TRANSCRIPTS. Official score reports are required to award credit by examination. If you took dual
enrollment courses, please request official college transcripts directly from the
institution where the classes were taken. Credit cannot be awarded based on high school
transcripts alone.

REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE. Be sure to register your current vehicle through the Parking Portal prior to arriving on campus. Review parking maps, permits, and campus regulations
before your first day.

SATISFY YOUR BILL. Ensure your student account balance is settled before the start of the semester. This includes finalizing any pending
financial aid, setting up an automatic Nelnet payment plan, or confirming external
tuition resources, such as military and veteran benefits.

ATTEND LEAP WEEK EVENTS & FRESHMAN CONVOCATION. The days leading up to fall classes are packed with interactive events and campus
activities. Keep an eye out for the official LEAP Week schedule release. Freshman Convocation, the official academic bookend to your future Commencement,
takes place the day before classes begin. This institutional tradition is one you
won't want to miss!
