Disability / Accommodation Requests

Academically qualified individuals with disabilities have equal opportunity and access to a quality education at Âé¶¹AV.

All students are considered for admission to the University under the same criteria. TDS does not determine the acceptance of students to Âé¶¹AV. At the time you are accepted to the university, we encourage you to contact Testing & Disability Services to request accommodations.

Types of Services

Disability Services coordinates and provides a variety of services based on each student's individual needs. Examples of some of these services include the following:

  • Academic accommodations
    • Accommodations specific to each student's individual functional limitations
    • Preferential classroom seating and other classroom accommodations
    • Assistive technology
    • Alternative Format including large print, audio textbooks, and Braille materials
  • Testing Center for exam accommodations
  • Housing Accommodations
  • Faculty consultation
  • Information and referral
  • Interpreter/Speech to Text Transcription

To request an interpreter or transcriber, contact TDS with at least 3-5 business days notice. Please provide the following information to TDS by emailing tds@augusta.edu or by clicking the button below:
