Honoring Exceptional Facilities & Physical Plant Support Staff

The W. Clay Adamson Jr. Award recognizes a full-time Facilities or Physical Plant support worker who has consistently gone above and beyond their role to demonstrate excellence, integrity, and dedication to Â鶹AV’s mission. The recipient embodies exceptional performance, innovation, and service that significantly exceeds normal expectations, contributing meaningfully to a safe, sustainable, and supportive campus environment.

A monetary reward is included with this recognition and is made possible by an endowment fund established by Mr. W. Clay Adamson Jr. Mr. Adamson was the Director of the Medical College of Georgia Physical Plant Division which is now Facilities Services Division of Â鶹AV until his retirement in 1997 after 30 years of dedicated service.

Eligibility

• Nominees must be full-time support staff in Facilities or Physical Plant, in good performance standing, and not in department head or senior management roles
• Nominees cannot be members of the current award selection committee
• Eligible contributions must have occurred during the most recently completed fiscal year (FY 2025)
