What is JagTrax?

Why does my Fall Through show courses outside my Course Program of Study (CPoS)?

You should check the catalog year for your correct CPoS, and meet with your advisor if questions remain.

What should I do if I'm getting an Authentication Error or Access Denied error?

You should close all browsers, clear your cache and history, and log in again using only the part of your email before "@augusta.edu." If the error continues, email jagtrax@augusta.edu with a screenshot. Advisors who are also AU students and get an "Access Denied" error should contact jagtrax@augusta.edu.

What should I do if I'm getting a JagTrax Login Error?

You should log out of all previously logged-in JagTrax instances and try logging in again. If the error continues, you may not have JagTrax access, so you should email banneraccess@augusta.edu to confirm.

What does it mean if I see "No Student Data Exists"?

It usually means you should confirm that the student is active, the catalog year on their record is correct, and they have declared a degree.

What should I do if I can't see one of my advisees?

Advisor-advisee links sync automatically from Banner, so if someone is missing, you should contact banneraccess@augusta.edu.

How do I read the requirements on my audit?

Requirements appear in blocks marked with three symbols: a red circle means the requirement is remaining, a green checkmark means it's completed, and a blue circle means it's in progress.

When are grades visible in JagTrax?

Grades become visible after End of Term Processing completes and the next nightly refresh runs.

Why isn't my information up to date in JagTrax?

This is usually because the nightly refresh hasn't run yet, or because paperwork, such as a grade change, is still pending. It can also happen after a curriculum update, since federal reporting rules mean that changes made after the drop/add period take effect the following term, so JagTrax continues to display both the current and future curriculum until the new term begins. If you have questions, contact jagtrax@augusta.edu.

What should I do if something on my audit looks wrong?

If your major or concentration is wrong, submit a Student Record Update form to records@augusta.edu. If your requirements look wrong, check the catalog term listed on the blue bars separating each section of your worksheet, since that is the catalog your requirements are built from, and contact records@augusta.edu if it needs to change. If an approved course substitution isn't showing up, know that it is sent electronically to jagtrax@augusta.edu once your advisor and department chair approve it. That takes about 48 hours but can take up to ten business days, and a substitution is only possible for a completed or registered course, not a planned one; advisors submit these through POUNCE. If you see "Un-Enforced" exceptions on your audit, you should contact your advisor, and advisors should file a JagTrax Student Issue Report Form.

Is JagTrax the same as my official transcript?

No, JagTrax is an unofficial audit of coursework and degree requirements, while your official record is your transcript, which must be requested.

How often should I review my degree audit?

You should review your audit at least five times per semester: before an advising appointment, before registration, after registration, after grades post each semester, and any time changes are made to your record.

When are students added to JagTrax?

Students are added to JagTrax upon acceptance, but their courses won't display until they are registered.

Why do I have more than one GPA?

Your Regents GPA is the average of every grade you've received at Â鶹AV, including repeated courses, and it is used to determine eligibility for scholarships and academic awards. Your Institutional GPA counts only your most recent grade for courses repeated at Â鶹AV that aren't repeatable for credit, such as WELL activity courses, and it is used to determine graduation eligibility and academic probation or suspension status. Your Transfer GPA is the average of grades transferred in from other schools and may be used to determine eligibility for academic awards. Your Overall GPA is the average of all grades earned in college-level work.
