This program equips graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with the knowledge, skills, and applied experiences necessary to lead effectively across disciplines.
The Academy is organized around Six Core Domains that reflect essential leadership competencies for interdisciplinary careers.
Using a blended, flexible learning model, the Academy integrates:

The Six Core Domains of Leadership
Foundations of Leadership
Introduce foundational leadership principles and examine how personal strengths and interpersonal tendencies shape leadership behaviors and identity aligned with academic and professional goals. Finish at least one of the two components below in order to complete the domain.

Self-Awareness, Emotional Intelligence, and Resilience
Support the development of emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness. Examine how personal strengths and interpersonal tendencies shape leadership behaviors and identity and apply these insights to improve interpersonal effectiveness and leadership practice in academic and professional settings. Finish any two of the four components below in order to complete the domain.

Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, and Innovation

Leading Change and Adaptability
Develop the skills to effectively lead teams through uncertainty, transitions, and organizational change, building on prior domains and emphasizing adaptability, decision-making, and leadership in complex systems. Finish two of the five components below in order to complete the domain.

Transparency and Collaboration
