For students in medicine, dentistry, allied health sciences, nursing and pharmacy at Â鶹AV, the curriculum extends far beyond the classroom as students hone their skills and deploy techniques through direct patient care interactions.
Students in the Medical College of Georgia, the Dental College of Georgia, and the colleges of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences have the opportunity to experience life-changing learning by delivering life-saving care inside the walls of Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center, the Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia, the Dental College of Georgia, Wellstar Roosevelt Warms Springs Rehabilitation Hospital and the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. Students may also participate in cutting-edge research to advance the future of treatments and care. This combination of clinical practice, education and research are unique to Â鶹AV and the only 120 academic health centers nationwide.
