  1. Two-way cycle track separated from vehicles and pedestrians.
  2. Raised crossing at Barnton Grove moved closer to the desire line at Whitehouse Road.
  3. Raised crossing on Whitehouse Road. This would be moved closer to Barnton Grove and raised to make crossing easier. A wider pedestrian island will create more space to wait.
  4. New loading area for the shops on Whitehouse Road – a dedicated space for deliveries.
  5. Bus stops moved slightly.
  6. Bus stop bypass – the cycle track passes behind the bus stop area. People would use the zebra crossing to get to the bus stop.
  7. Changes to parking to accommodate wider pavements and the cycle track. Six parking bays and two disabled bays are retained outside the shops, and space for two vehicles on the opposite side.
  8. Access to all driveways will be retained. New raised pavements at entrance/exit to Royal Burgess Golf Society.
  9. A wider signalised toucan crossing shared by pedestrians and cyclists.
  10. Area of pavement shared by pedestrians and cyclists on each side of the toucan crossing.
  11. New double yellow lines on Whitehouse Road would restrict parking between the Royal Burgess Golf Society and Barnton Avenue West.
