Career-Integrated Learning Office

At Âé¶¹AV’s Career-Integrated Learning (CIL) Office, we connect education with experience—helping students turn what they learn in the classroom into meaningful, real-world impact. Through service learning, undergraduate research, and other hands-on opportunities, we empower students to explore career paths, build professional skills, and graduate with confidence. Our office partners with the campus community to create engaging and inclusive experiences that are life-changing and lifesaving, so every Jaguar can take the next step towards a successful future.

About the Interim Associate Provost

Dr. Abdulovic-Cui currently serves Âé¶¹AV as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies in the College of Science and Math (CSM). Abdulovic-Cui brings more than a decade of experience in academic program development, student success initiatives, and strategic growth in CSM. Her additional leadership roles at AU include associate chair and interim chair of the biological sciences program, the founding director of the Master of Science in Biomolecular Sciences program, and current director of the Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience program.

CURS supports faculty-led research and scholarly activity with undergraduates in a variety of ways including: development activities, student research seminars, and offering research grants for faculty working with undergraduates.

The Office of First and Second Year Experiences (FYE/SYE) is designed to help students make the most of their college experience from the day they step on campus! FYE/SYE offers a variety of events including adulting workshops, book clubs, and class-wide events that recognize significant milestones in your college career.

The Honors Program provides all motivated and high-achieving students the opportunity to enhance their undergraduate education. The honors curriculum focuses on three goals: knowledge, communication, and professionalism.

This office is dedicated to supporting the university's commitment to diversity and inclusion by helping our colleges and departments bring new international visitors and employees to campus.

Military Science

The Jaguar Battalion's Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is a four-year program designed to prepare students for Army service as commissioned officers in the military.

Study Abroad

The Study Abroad Office provides opportunities for students to travel abroad (international) or away (domestic) on academic programs and earn credit towards their degree. We also support the work of faculty to create and manage programs giving students these opportunities in the various academic areas.

  • International Initiatives: We are looking for an International Services Coordinator! This position is responsible for overseeing the F-1 international student program and maintaining compliance with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) regulations.
