Georgia Simulation Education Consortium

The Georgia Simulation Education Consortium (GSEC) is a collaborative network of healthcare educators, professionals, and institutions dedicated to advancing simulation-based education across the state of Georgia.

The mission of the Georgia Simulation Education Consortium is to advance the use of simulation-based education to improve healthcare training, enhance patient safety, and promote excellence in clinical practice. GSEC fosters collaboration among institutions and supports the development, dissemination, and evaluation of high-quality simulation-based learning and research.

Membership

Membership in the Georgia Simulation Education Consortium is open to simulation educators, operators, and researchers working at Georgia hospitals, educational institutions, and healthcare centers. There is no membership fee. Members agree to collaborate in good faith, share aggregate data where appropriate, and abide by the Consortium’s bylaws. The consortium is directed by  A.J. Kleinheksel, PhD, MEd, CHSE-A, FSSH.

Membership Bylaws

All members are required to review and agree to the Georgia Simulation Education Consortium Membership Agreement and Bylaws prior to joining. The bylaws outline the Consortium’s mission, governance structure, membership rights and responsibilities, data-sharing principles, and amendment process.
