Who Can Participate?

You may qualify if you are:

            • A woman living in Georgia
            • Uninsured or underinsured
            • Due for breast or cervical cancer screening
            • Need help accessing follow-up care

What We Offer

Breast & cervical health screening for uninsured & underinsured women in Georgia:

Mammograms

Screening mammograms to detect breast cancer early.

Additional imaging and follow-up when needed.

Cervical cancer screening through Pap tests.

Diagnostic follow-up & additional testing if needed.

 

We also facilitate follow-up and referral appointments for patients using “concierge service” patient navigators.

Frequently Asked Questions

No filter applied.

No. Services are available for eligible women who are uninsured or underinsured.​

You will receive a letter with your results and can expect it a few days after your visit. If you do not receive your results in 30 days, you can contact the patient navigator.​

Most women report brief discomfort, but both screenings only take a few minutes.​
Your patient navigator will help connect you to the next steps.​

Breast Cancer Screening (Average Risk)​

Ages 40–44: May choose to begin annual mammograms. ​

Ages 45–54: Get a mammogram every year. ​

Ages 55+: Get a mammogram every 2 years or continue yearly screening. ​

Cervical Cancer Screening (Average Risk)​

Ages 25–65: Screen with one of the following: ​

  • Primary HPV test: Every 5 years (preferred) ​
  • HPV/Pap co-test: Every 5 years ​
  • Pap test alone: Every 3 years ​

Talk with your healthcare provider if you are at higher risk or have a personal or family history of cancer, as you may need a different screening schedule.​
