Â鶹AV Oncology

For more than three decades, Â鶹AV Oncology has served as the leading private medical oncology practice in Â鶹AV and its surrounding areas. Physicians and staff diagnose cancer and manage chemotherapy, radiation therapy and other medical treatments for all types of cancers in adults, including breast cancer, lung cancer, leukemia and lymphoma, gynecologic cancers and others.

Owned and operated by physicians, Â鶹AV Oncology offers a different type of care management for cancer patients. Patients can expect to be seen within a week after referral—and often as soon as the same day. Patients are then partnered with a nurse-physician team, which includes a medical oncologist and two oncology-certified registered nurses. For continuity of care, patients see the same physician and nurses throughout their treatment and follow-up visits. Their nurses are also the main point of contact anytime a patient has a question.

Â鶹AV Oncology also has a nurse navigator who is available to help manage care for high-risk patients who may have issues with transportation, lack of support or other concerns.
