Iconeus One
Description
Iconeus One, utilizes functional ultrasound specifically for neuroscience-related assessments including resting state functional connectivity, vascular and functional neuroimaging, neuropharmacological effects in the brain, etc.
Purpose
Instrument is used to image the whole mouse brain non-invasively through the intact skin and skull to assess brain activity and function. The Iconeus One can be used to visualize cerebral blood flow, study neurovascular coupling, and map brain activity, including functional connectivity in aged and neurodegenerative disease models and stroke models. The Iconeus One can also be used to assess the effects of pharmaceutical agents on blood flow and brain connectivity.
