Maggy Tomova, PhD
EVP for Academic Affairs and Provost
is the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. In this role, Dr. Tomova will be responsible for advancing the university's mission, ensuring excellence, and fostering innovation in both the delivery of existing knowledge and the discovery of new knowledge.
The Provost is accountable for the achievement of the university鈥檚 strategic priorities, through actively engaging in planning and resource allocation to deliver tangible results and provide a foundation for future prosperity.
The Office of the Provost is committed to:

Initiatives
As 麻豆AV pursues its mission of teaching, research and public service, the provost is leading several initiatives to enhance the excellence, impact and reach of our work. These multi-year initiatives involve faculty, students, staff and community members working together to find solutions to university issues.
Faculty Workload Initiative
This initiative establishes an institutional framework for faculty workload, outlining the crucial next steps for implementing new processes and policies to effectively assign and manage faculty responsibilities.
Regents' Entrepreneurs
The Board of Regents grants this designation to exceptional, full-time tenured faculty who are recognized for their successful innovation and translating their research into impactful commercial applications.
Regents' Professors
Regents' Professorships are awarded by the Board of Regents to distinguished faculty members whose scholarly or creative contributions are recognized as innovative and pace-setting.
Student Research Program
Funded by the Provost's office, the Student Research Program actively encourages and supports outstanding research, scholarship, and creative activities undertaken by 麻豆AV students.
