EMS Academy
Advance your EMS career and strengthen your prehospital medicine skills through the
EMS Academy. Our programs provide high-quality education and hands-on training for
providers at every level of prehospital care.
The EMS Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum through a variety of learning formats
designed to prepare students for real-world patient care and operational environments.
Courses are taught using current national standards, evidence-based practices, and
industry-recognized certifications.
Our instructors are experienced EMS professionals, paramedics, and physicians with
extensive backgrounds in prehospital and emergency medicine, bringing practical field
experience directly into the classroom and training environment.
NREMT & Critical Care
The Medical College of Georgia at Â鶹AV Center of Operational Medicine supports local, state, national, and international EMS providers through the EMS Academy by increasing their medical knowledge for improved patient care standards.
Please be advised that COM courses are continuing education courses only and are not part of the accredited course offerings at Â鶹AV.
Cancellation Policy
Application and cancellation fees are non-refundable.
A full refund will be given if cancellation is received in writing prior to the course.
A 50% refund will be given if the cancellation is received in writing during the first
week of the course.
No refund will be given after the first week of the course.
Qualified substitutions are permitted.
No written notice – no refund (except in emergency situations - on a case by case basis).
