Bio

Dr. Ichchha Pandey, °ä¹ó±Ê®, holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. She is committed to teaching and research in the field of finance. Dr. Pandey believes in creating an engaging learning environment by incorporating real-world scenarios into her teaching, enabling students to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations.
Her research focuses on the impact of financial literacy on individuals’ financial decision-making and behavior. Through her work, Dr. Pandey aims to deepen understanding of this relationship and identify strategies to improve financial behaviors, ultimately advancing the discipline of financial planning. Her scholarly contributions have been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Behavioral Finance, the Financial Planning Review, the Journal of Financial Therapy, and the Financial Planning Research Journal.

Research Interests

My research primarily examines households’ and individuals’ financial behaviors, with a focus on financial planning. A significant portion of my research examines the impact of financial literacy on consumer financial decisions, particularly debt management and investment behavior.
