The DCG provides dental education to the next generation of oral healthcare professionals by offering hands-on education through innovative research, patient care and service.

Growth: The healthcare industry is booming. As our population ages and faces more chronic conditions, the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that health care occupations will account for half of the 20 fastest-growing jobs through 2035. At Â鶹AV's Dental College of Georgia, we provide the people of Georgia with quality oral health care by educating students in dentistry, dental hygiene, and oral biology. 

Hands-on Education: As part of our commitment to hands-on learning for our dental students and statewide oral health outreach, we're expanding to a second campus in Savannah, and we recently began a new partnership with Mercer University to care for individuals with developmental differences at a specialty clinic in Macon. We also partner with dental providers in more than 25 clinics across Georgia at community health departments, federally qualified health centers, and a few private practices to provide patient support to those sites, where students gain valuable clinical training experience.

Patient Care: As a patient, you have the option to receive treatment in one of our three different practice models consisting of student clinics, resident care, or in the faculty practice.  All dental treatments can be completed by the specialists in our facility.
