Criminal Trespass Warnings

Â鶹AV Police are committed to providing a safe workplace and environment for its students, patients, employees, and visitors. Anyone found in violation of local, state or federal law, enterprise policies, regulations or rules or who poses a risk to campus safety or security is subject to having their access to all University or Medical Center property restricted, withheld or removed.

The following individuals have been issued a trespass warning and are prohibited from entering all University or Medical Center property and engaging in any University or Medical Center activity, program or function. A trespass warning does not indicate that the individual is guilty of a crime; only that they have been issued a trespass warning.

Protect your Property

Always be aware of your surroundings.

Use the Campus Escort Service, 24 hours a day.

Avoid poorly lighted areas.

Try to walk with a group of people and avoid walking alone, especially after dark.

Carry your vehicle keys in your hand and be ready to unlock the door as soon as you get to your vehicle.

An unlocked office or valuable items visible creates an appealing target for a thief.

  • The following suggestions will lessen the possibility of your possessions being stolen.
  • Lock your door when leaving an unattended office. 
  • Keep valuables locked up. Do not leave property out in the open, where it is visible to any passerby.
  • Write down brand name, model numbers and serial numbers of computer components and other equipment. Have this information available when reporting stolen equipment.

Â鶹AV and GRMC policy requires all faculty, employees, students, and contractors to visibly wear their Â鶹AV/GRMC photo identification while on campus.

Keep your car or truck locked at all times. If your vehicle does not have an anti-theft device like an alarm or ignition failure system, consider purchasing one with your next automobile.

If your vehicle stereo is equipped with a detachable face, remove it from your vehicle or place it in the glove compartment (out of sight).

If you see anyone in and around your work area or building who looks suspicious, lost or confused, or just out of place, please call Â鶹AV Police immediately!
